Beach Ranger Program
2021 OAK VIEW COMMUNITY YOUTH BEACH CAMP
For Boys and Girls 9 to 17 years of age

PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM
To acquaint the youth of the Oak View community with the beach and its hazards. To learn about the ocean environment and how to use the beach safely.
Ocean awareness, safe beach activities, some water skill, aquatic animal identification and awareness, safety measures used by the Huntington Beach Fire Department Marine Safety Division
The program offers two four-week camps.
Below are the dates and times:
Camp One - Monday and Wednesday, July 12. 2021, to August 5, 2021
Camp Two - Tuesday and Thursday, July 12, 2021, to August 5, 2021
12:00 p.m. Pick up at Oak View Community Center, transportation provided
12:30 p.m. Drop off at the beach, First Street and Pacific Coast Highway, Lunch provided
1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Ocean and beach education and activities, introduction to the ocean skills 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Beach Day, open format to utilize skills developed
3:30 p.m. Transport back to Oak View Community Center
4:00 p.m. Return to Oak View Community Center
Camp participants must register on the www.hbsands.org website. Please use the Activity Code 900010 C1 for Camp One or 900010 C2 for Camp Two.
There is no cost for this program. This program is for the families in the Oak View Community. Spots are limited. If you need assistance registering your child, please call 714.374.1501.
